Wednesday Game Night

Every Sunday from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Game Night takes place at one if our local game stores, Game Haven, in St. George every Wednesday. We often play TCG or board games decided by those at the meet. A day pass is required by Game Haven to attend, which can be purchased for 5$. Alternatively, monthly passes are available for $25 if you're interested in attending regularly, which includes 2 free guest passes. If you are unable to cover the $5 entree fee, we often have members who are happy to lend a hand and loan a guest pass to those who need it, if you would like to reach out in our discord server. The day pass fee covers the board games game haven provides, so no need to bring your own. Fursuit parts and accessories (Tails, Paws, etc.) are allowed to be worn inside game haven, but fursuit heads are not.More info about each event can also be found within the discord server.

Who We Are

We’re a community of local furries based in Southern Utah who enjoy meeting up, making connections, and finding fun ways to spend time together—whether it’s hanging out in suit, attending events, or just enjoying time with like-minded friends. Our group focuses primarily on in-person meetups and community building, but we also maintain a Discord server as a central hub for chatting, sharing art, and staying updated on everything happening locally. Whether you’re already active in the fandom or just starting to get involved, you’re welcome here.

What We Do

We organize regular meetups multiple times a week, plus larger, specially planned monthly events. Past meetups have included group hikes, game nights, convention trips, laser tag, pool parties, camping, festival appearances and more. We also occasionally participate in community events like Pride and other city happenings around St. George. Many of our events are fursuit-friendly. No events require a fursuit that is a common misconception about the fandom. We always welcome new ideas and suggestions for things to do. Info for upcoming meetups can be found in our events tab, and we post updates in dedicated announcement channels.

Our History

Our story began in early June 2023 as a small Telegram group chat among friends from St. George. Over time, through word of mouth and connecting with other local furries, our group began to grow. Interest spread to a furry community in Cedar City, leading to more people wanting to join beyond St. George. On September 1, 2023, we transitioned the chat to a Discord server, officially launching the Southern Utah Furs. While we experienced gradual growth, typically adding a few members each month, it remained slow.By early June 2024, we reached out to the United Utah Furry Fandom (U2F2) for support. They generously provided assistance, featuring us on their website and promoting us via their social media channels. This newfound visibility led to a surge in our membership, doubling our numbers from around 40 to 80 in just one month.
